Omak, WA
Hello, everyone! I’m fairly new to the area. I’ve had some very good friends in the Omak / Okanogan area for years.  After coming here to visit them a few times, I decided that this is where I wanted to live, so I moved from my home state of Pennsylvania to live here permanently.
One of the things that attracted me to this area is it’s natural beauty. During an extended stay here last fall (’06), I enjoyed photographing the area’s gorgeous scenery, it’s flora, it’s people, and most of all, it’s wildlife. The Bighorns of Loomis quickly became one of my favorite subjects. And the waterfowl! Okanogan County is blessed with a great variety of wild ducks - during my stay last fall, I observed over a dozen different species.
In addition to the wildlife here in the Okanogan Valley, I look forward to continuing to photograph in Yellowstone, Glacier N. P., the Tetons, and the Cascades. Now that I live in Omak, all of these splendid destinations are just a day’s drive away!
I’d like to thank everyone who’s welcomed me into this community - the friendliness and helpfulness I’ve encountered here are truly unique.
